SBI – AAVanced™ AAV Cloning and Expression Vectors
The expression vectors contain inverted terminal repeat (ITR) sequences at both ends of the DNA strand and room for an open reading frame encoding a transgene driven by an exogenous promoter. To produce a high titer of viral particles, expression and packaging vectors are transiently co-transfected into suitable mammalian virus producer cells (e.g. HEK 293T cells) for subsequent isolation of rAAV virus particles in culture media.

Although recombinant human cytokines are commercially available from bacterial, eukaryotic, and mammalian cell expression systems (E. coli, SF9, CHO), human cell-expressed (HEK293) glycoproteins offer the distinct advantage of native human glycosylation. Mirus Bio is discontinuing the following products:
- TransIT-Neural® (MIR2144, MIR2140, MIR2145, MIR2146 and MIR2142)
TransIT-X2® and TransIT®-2020 offer better performance depending on the cell type.
Please use the Reagent Agent® tool to find the best recommendation for your application.
- TransIT®-3D (MIR5820, MIR5804, MIR5805, MIR5806 and MIR5810)
- If you are using Alvetex® plates, TransIT®-2020 is recommended for transfection.
- If you are using other 3D formats, Mirus recommends using Reagent Agent® tool to find the best reagent for your cell type and nucleic acid.
