Freeze-Thaw Stability of Micronic TPE Push Caps in -80°C
Micronic regularly conducts research on the stability of their tubes and caps with regard to freeze-thaw cycles. A frequent analysis of the freeze-thaw stability on Micronic tubes and caps provides a safe and reliable recognition of Micronic products among customers. In order to get valid results, instead of just a freeze test, a freeze-thaw test is conducted. Consisting of 10 cycles of -80°C to +21°C the freeze-thaw stability test is performed with a rack filled with 1.40ml Micronic Screw Cap tubes with Micronic TPE caps. Also, a rack filled with 1.40ml Micronic Push Cap tubes sealed with Micronic TPE caps was tested. As a reference, Push Caps and Screw Cap tubes of a competitor are also included in the test.
