abc biopply – Extracellular Vesicles Composition Affected by 3D Cell Architecture
3D CoSeedis™ has recently been used to demonstrate the effect of 3D cellular architecture on microRNA and protein cargo of extracellular vesicles.
To do so, the authors used comparative analysis of biochemical features, RNA and proteomic profiles of vesicles secreted by both, 2D and 3D cultures of gastric cancer cells. The paper shows that 3D CoSeedis™ presents a robust experimental system to efficiently produce extracellular vesicles under controlled conditions.
