- Goat Anti-Rat IgG Antibody, mouse adsorbed (H+L), Biotinylated, 0.5 mg, is prepared using proprietary immunization schedules that produce high-affinity antibodies, which are then purified by affinity chromatography. Cross-reactivities that are likely to interfere with specific labeling are removed by solid-phase adsorption techniques. Conjugation ensures the maximum degree of labeling without compromising specificity or affinity. These antibodies, subjected to rigorous quality control assays, can be used for tissue and cell staining, ELISAs, and blots, and for tissues that may contain interfering endogenous immunoglobulins. This mouse adsorbed anti-rat IgG (H+L) product has been thoroughly adsorbed by a solid-phase technique to remove antibodies that cross-react with mouse immunoglobulins. This adsorbed antibody, supplied in liquid format, allows primary antibodies made in rat to be used on mouse tissues. With some exceptions, the recommended dilution for most applications is 1:100.
