Cancer Awareness – How Can One Help to Serve The Betterment of Mankind?
On Saturday April 22nd, 2023, Johanne Larochelle (Bilingual Customer Service Specialist) had a date with Becky at Walmart Hair Salon in Brockville, ON to cut her treasured locks as a donation to “Hair Donation Ottawa”. Hair Donation Ottawa works in conjunction with CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) to supply wigs for children with cancer. It takes approximately 15-20 ponytails and ~$2000 to create a wig. Children’s wigs require special care so they can withstand sports. These wigs are given to the children at no charge.
Her longest strand was 17” and shortest 14”.
We are pleased to announce that Johanne raised $1180 towards the wig creations.
